Kimberly Ann Kavanaugh Wheelus Fulmer, 44, of El Dorado, Arkansas, passed away July 22, 2022 at Baptist Health in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on November 12, 1977, in West Monroe, Louisiana to Ernest G. Kavanaugh and Bettye (Suzy) Stuart Kavanaugh.
She was an elementary school teacher for almost 20 years in the El Dorado School District. She was a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma, Arkansas Educators Association, Daughters of the Confederacy; Oratorio choir, charter member of the Wildcat dance team and a Roger’s M.S. cheerleader. Kimberly was a member of Wyatt Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Ernest and Odessa Kavanaugh and George and Ruth Stuart; two special cousins, Christina Springfield and Ivy Stuart.
She is survived by her parents; her sons, Jamie and Joey Wheelus and daughter, Hyla Fulmer; her former husbands, Benjamin Wheelus and Tobin Fulmer and brother, Jason (Crystal) Kavanaugh.
To her students, know that she truly loved you and her heart’s desire was to make a positive difference in your lives. To her friends, she loved each of you and she was a loyal friend… friendship was something she treasured and was extremely important to her. Kim was a blessing to many people.
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Wyatt Baptist Church with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Bro. Donny Hymer will be officiating under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
