Carolyn Jean "Meme" Hendricks, age 91, of El Dorado, passed away on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Courtyard Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on January 8, 1933 to Erma Davis and Minnie Rene Meador Baker in Malvern, AR.
Meme loved her three sons. She had the personality of a firecracker. Meme was an outdoor enthusiast, and she loved to fish. She had a love for her Lord and her church, East Main Baptist. She cherished her family and friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, and husband of 47 years, Oscar "Dunnie" Hendricks.
Survivors include her brother, Geren (Delores) Baker of Bella Vista, AR; sons, Michael (Debbie) Hendricks, Russ (Linda) Hendricks both of El Dorado; Scott Hendricks of Junction City, AR; grandchildren, Nichol (Danny) Greer, Brett Hendricks, Cassie (Matt) Hubbard, Jeffrey (Jenny) Hendricks, Brandon (Ashley) Hendricks, Carlee (Tyler) Alston and Nealey Hendricks Sayers; great grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Tanner, Tucker, Walt, Anne Claire, Helen, Jackson, Banks, Aubrey, and Brynlee.
Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Young's.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, June 13, 2024 at East Main Baptist Church with Rev. Don Phillips and Rev. Ryan Huffty officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
