Charles Martin Spears, 79, of El Dorado, passed away on April 16, 2025 at Hudson Memorial Nursing Home. He was born on August 13, 1945 to Rasha Charles Spears and Gladys Loneta Willis Spears in Corpus Christi, TX.
He was a retired truck driver and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Preceding him in death are his parents, step-father, Melvin Sullivant; sisters, Faye January, Lola Browning; and brother-in-laws, Dale Harris and Jay January.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Spears of El Dorado; daughter, Laurie Womack (Joe) of Huttig; sister, Veda Harris of El Dorado; brothers, William Spears of Huttig, brother-in-law, Jerrel Browning of El Dorado; and a host of nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM, Friday, June 13, 2025, with Military Honors at Young's Chapel. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Young’s Funeral Directors.
