Charlotte Vinson

Charlotte Vinson, 82, 0f El Dorado passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 in Little Rock.  Born December 31, 1943 in Macedonia, AR, she was the daughter of Ernest and Louella Benton Pace.

 

Charlotte had been a bookkeeper with Crown Construction and had later retired from ENSCO.

 

Charlotte‘s passion was taking care of her loved ones. Nothing made her happier than to cook a big meal for you. If you had known her long at all you had surely eaten her food. From cakes to pies to complete meals she served it all with extra love and a smile. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, making sure they all knew how special they were to her. Charlotte was always up for an adventure, and she lived her life to the fullest. She will be deeply missed, and we will carry a part of her in our hearts forever.

 

Preceding her in death along with her parents was a son, Danny Vinson, II and a grandson, James Thomas McCrary along with brothers, Ernest Pace, Jr., James Pace, and Charlie Pace; and  sisters, Edith Pace and Doris DeSoto.

 

Survivors include her son, Seth Vinson and wife Brenda of El Dorado, and daughters, Donita Hickey and husband Steve and Sharon Gardner and husband Dewayne.  Also surviving are two sisters, Edwina Pace and Pat Pace both of Searcy.  Surviving grandchildren are Landon Vinson, Rhett Blackman, Amanda McCrary and Paul, Bethany Taylor and Austin, Summer Cameron, Maci Steele and Hunter.  Surviving great-grandchildren are Brantley, Caroline and Ellie; Jake, Raylee and Dillon; David and Cypress.

 

Also surviving are a bonus daughter, Angel Faulkner and her husband Joe and a lifelong cousin and loyal friend, Rosemary Gill.

 

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 3, 2026 in the Pavilion at Marysville Cemetery.  Interment will follow under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
