James W. Wynn

James W. Wynn, 83 of El Dorado, sadly, but peacefully left us on Friday November 10, 2023 at his home.
He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family and was so proud of each one of us. He worked hard all of his life to make sure he provided his family with the best life possible and he accomplished that and much more. He was the strongest man we knew and we always knew we could count on him for anything. We will deeply miss him but we do have comfort in knowing he is with the love of his life once again.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jennie Lou George of Little Rock, AR; his brother, Carrol Ray George of Little Rock, AR; his loving wife of 64 years, Nancy Wynn of El Dorado, AR, and a precious granddaughter, Emily Perdue of Bossier, LA.
He is survived by his children, Terry Perdue (Danny) of Bossier, LA, Richard Wynn (Jelyn) of Parkers Chapel, Cindy Burns (Chris) of El Dorado, and Amy Nixon (James) of Camden, AR. His grandchildren are Jamie Odom of Bossier, AR, Taylor Wynn of Covington, LA, Alex Wynn of Parkers Chapel, Morgan Areno of Ruston, LA, Alec Nixon of Elizabeth Town, KY and Austin Nixon of Benton, AR. He also has three great-grandchildren, Mickey Marino of Bossier, LA, Marshall Marino of Bossier, LA, and Tucker Wynn of Parkers Chapel.
There will be a small intimate graveside service held at New Hope Cemetery located in McNeil, on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 10:00 A.M.
In lieu of flower, memorials may be made to the CARTI Foundation, P.O. Box 55011, Little Rock, AR 72215.
