Karen Sullivan Williams Hite

Karen Sullivan Williams Hite, age 64, of El Dorado, passed away on December 31, 2025. She was born on December 1, 1961, and lived a life full of connection, laughter, and genuine love for her family and others. Karen had a deep love for music and always said it "soothes my soul". She had attended numerous concerts of all genres.
Karen was truly unforgettable. She never met a stranger and had a larger-than-life personality that instantly drew people in. She once joked that the one thing no one had ever called her was “quiet,” and that perfectly captured her vibrant spirit. Karen had a rare gift for making people feel special, and important — and she shared that gift freely with everyone she met. Her friendships were deep, her heart was open, and her presence made life brighter.
She was an avid Razorback fan and remained loyal no matter how tough the season became, always predicting an “upset alert” when others had lost hope. Her optimism, humor, and warmth were contagious, and she brought joy wherever she went.
Karen was preceded in death by her Husband Gordon Hite, her Father Jimmy Sullivan and her Mother Kay Hogue Chaffin
Karen is survived by her daughters, Heather Booth (Cody); and BreAnna Mills; her mama, Charlotte Sullivan; her sisters, Dee-Shana McKinnon (Gene) and Angela Hogue Turner, and her brother, Cody Burns (Marianne). She was a proud Nana to Karson and Kolton DeBlieux and Jaxen Mills.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Jordan Weldon (Russ), Evan McKinnon (Alyson), Amy Burns, Kaytlin Turner (Destiny), and Nicholas Burns (Kelsey), and Quinton Burns along with MANY cousins and great-nieces; Savvy, Madelyn, Penelope, and Olivia whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her dear friend, Sherry Franques, who was like family to her
Karen will always be remembered for her kindness, her joy, and her love.
“ Call ’em loud.” Woo Pig Sooie. Go Hogs.

Pallbearers are Kolton DeBlieux, Karson DeBlieux, Gary Wayne Misenheimer, Mark Hodnett, Shelby Ward and Nick Burns.

A celebration of Karen’s life will be held on Monday January 5th at Young’s Funeral Chapel from 12-2pm with Service following. She will be buried at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.
