LaRue Stone, 85 of El Dorado passed away Thursday August 29, 2024. Born August 24, 1939 in El Dorado, she was the daughter of Alfred and Mary Moore Hudson.
LaRue was a homemaker and a longtime member of Marrable Hill Chapel. Preceding her in death along with her parents was a sister, Nita Parker.
Survivors include her husband, Billy Bob Stone of El Dorado, sons, Jerry Brumley (Amber) of El Dorado and Mickey Parker (Amy) of Huttig and step-daughters, Christi Simco of Fayetteville, AR and Katie Reynolds (Tony) of Huntsville, AR. Surviving grandchildren are Barbie Gehring and Chase Parker along with brothers, Jimmy Hudson, Neil Hudson and Jackie Ray Hudson and sisters, Roxie Harris, Dixie Bush and Janice Hudson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Marrable Hill Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Blake Dailey officiating. Interment will follow in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
