Pamala Faye Chamberlain Lout

Pamala Faye Chamberlain Lout, born January 3, 1949 to William Feltz Chamberlain, Sr. and Mary Hughes Chamberlain passed away on November 12, 2025 after a short battle with cancer. She left this life and entered her Heavenly home with her Savior and all of her friends and loved ones who preceded her in death, her parents; her brothers, William Feltz Chamberlain, Jr. (Bonnie), and Dwayne Chamberlain (Donna).
She is survived after almost 56 years of marriage to David L. Lout; one son, Jonathan W. Lout (Shelly) of El Dorado; one granddaughter, Allie Hammett (Jordan) of Junction City; one grandson, Trace Lout of El Dorado; and three great grandchildren.
Pamala graduated college at Southern State College with a Masters of Education. She devoted her entire life to serving her Lord in Immanuel Baptist Church's Children's Ministry and 30 years of Christian Education at West Side Christian School as Librarian, where her ministry impacted countless children through the years. Pamala was also an active member of the Gideon International serving as President of the auxiliary for 17 years.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all of our friends and loved ones for their prayers, cards, letters and their deep concern during Pam's illness. We would like to express our sincere thankfulness to Dr. Greg Smart and his wonderful staff who showed love and compassion to us during this difficult time, and also for the compassion shown by the nurses with Gentiva Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025 with visitation one hour prior to the service at Immanuel Baptist Church. A private family interment will be held in Smackover Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Immanuel Baptist Church Children's Ministry or Gideons International.
