Obituaries

Patricia Ann "Pat" Ray, 85 of Louann passed away Sunday, October 18, 2026 at her residence.

Born November 9, 1940 in Louann, AR she was the daughter of Dewey W. and Leona Joyce Valentine Williams.  Pat had retired from Cross Oil as a receptionist after over 30 years.  She was a member of First Baptist Church of Smackover.

Preceding her in death along with her parents was her husband, Charles T. "Charlie" Ray, a grandson, Brent'ton Daniel Jeffcoats, and sisters, Terry Harmon and Cindy Miller.

Survivors include sons, Charles Glenn Ray of Louann, and Ricky Ray (Cheryl) of Conway and a daughter, Marci Jeffcoats (Hank) of  Heber Springs.  Also surviving are a brother, Bob Williams (Dean) of Noble,  OK and a sister, Sharon Kay Ward (Bud Albritton) of Sparkman, AR.  Surviving grandchildren are Chuck (Amy) Jeffcoats of Heber Springs, Dustin Ray of Nashville, TN; Hannah (William) DenHartog of Conway, and Rachel (Cameron) Warren of Hot Springs. Surviving great grandchildren are Parker Jeffcoats and Milo Jeffcoats of Heber Springs, Tatum DenHartog and Savvy DenHartog of Conway.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2026 at First Baptist Church in Smackover with funeral services to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carly Davis officiating.  Interment will follow in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
