Sherby Jean Bryant, age 82, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Born in Camden, Arkansas, She lived in El Dorado, and later Bella Vista, Arkansas. Sherby built a life filled with faith, kindness, and an unwavering love for others.
Sherby was the devoted wife of Billy N. Bryant, loving mother to Michael Ray Bryant and Jennifer Neal Bryant, and cherished sister to Patricia Young Bryant and Raymond Young. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Young and Gladys Young.
A natural caregiver, Sherby spent many years as a nurse before becoming a dedicated teacher in the El Dorado School District. Her compassion touched countless lives—both in the classroom and in the community.
At home, Sherby shared her heart through the meals she lovingly prepared. She was known fondly as the deer whisperer, and she carried a deep and abiding love for the Lord. Sherby never met a stranger; her warmth, sweetness, and gentle spirit made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She was a devoted wife, a wonderful mother, and a truly caring soul whose presence brought comfort to all who knew her.
Sherby’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and quiet strength. She will be deeply missed and forever treasured by her family and friends.
Services will be Saturday, December 6th, visitation at 1pm and the service will be at 2 pm both at Young's funeral home. Burial will be at Canaan Baptist Church in Lockhart, LA.
