Sherman “Pete” Parker passed from this earth August 13, 2026. He was born May 31, 1972 to Sherman and Pamela Parker in Tacoma, Washington.

Pete was known to be a hardworking, kind and gentle man who having the God Given ability to fix anything enjoyed helping anyone in need of his skills. He enjoyed spending time working on his bike, building bikes, tinkering on anything that needed to be repaired and being an all-around handyman. He is described as being a peaceful man with a big heart who loved his family especially spending time with his boys. He worked hard at spoiling his grandbabies and was known to be a gentle giant. Pete was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather, a respectful son and a loyal brother. He and his brother often shared the motto “The past is the past; we live in the present and we will always look forward to the future.” He will be greatly missed by family and friends, especially by his friends at Victory Church where he was a member.

Preceding him is his father. Surviving him are his wife Madia Parker, his three sons; Jesse, Jason and Jaxon Parker his grandchildren; Aubrey Parker, Ansley Parker, Waylon Parker and one on the way, his mother Pamela Ann Parker and brother James Parker, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Honoring his memory by serving as pallbearers will be Jesse Parker, Jason Parker, Jaxon Parker, James Parker, John Benefield, Clint Evers, Layton Garrett, Caleb Williams, and Kenzell Biggers.

Services will be held 2:00pm Thursday August 20,2026 at Victory Church with visitation being held one hour prior. Pastor Steven will be officiating and services will be under the direction of Perry’s Funeral Chapel of El Dorado. An online registry can be signed at wwwperrysfuneralchapel.com.
