Groundbreaking ceremonies, marking the start of $10 million plus in construction for a new residence hall and baseball park on the West Campus of South Arkansas College in El Dorado, will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
The residence hall event will be at 11:30 a.m. at 411 S. West Ave. The ballpark event will be at noon at the corner of South West Avenue and West Hillsboro Street.
The package of capital improvements is being made possible mostly through a $10 million charitable gift from Murphy Oil Corporation, announced Tuesday, June 4, 2024.
