Two former Columbia County residents have died in an apparent murder-suicide in Sachse, TX.
According to a statement by the Sachse Police Department, police received a 911 call at 6:10 a.m. Saturday, September 28, 2024 about a deceased person inside a house in the 5100 block of Park Lake Court.
Officers entered the residence and discovered a deceased female and a deceased male both with gunshot wounds. Investigation revealed that the male, Johnny Simmons, 45, shot the female, Melanie Willis, 39, and then took his own life with a self-inflicted gunshot.
Simmons and Willis both resided at the location and were in a relationship.
