Danny Gayle Washington, 78, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. He was born June 11, 1945 to Ernest and Mozel Trichel Washington in El Dorado, AR.
He was a 1963 graduate of Norphlet High School and attended Southern State University. Danny was owner of Washington Heating and Air and an Oil Producer. He was a member of West Side Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Danny was a member of Schuler Deer Camp for 62 years.
Preceding him in death are his parents, and sister, Wanda Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years, Charlotte Higgs Washington of El Dorado; children, Wade Washington; Trichel Grisham both of Hot Springs; grandchildren, Zachary Washington (Heather), Zayne Grisham, Sydney Grisham, Madelyn Burns, Rheannie Burns, Ryker Burns; brother-in-law, Cotton Jones, nephew, Glen Jones (Rhonda); great niece, Quimby Jones Wilson; and great nephew, Reese Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Young's Chapel with Rev. Sam Higgs officiating. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
