Delmar Gene Frachiseur, 94 of El Dorado passed away to his rest Wednesday, August 13, 2025. Born January 26, 1931 in Hochatown, Oklahoma he was the son of James Isaac and Addie Lois Wilson Frachiseur.
At the age of two the family moved to Smackover, AR where he grew up. went to school and graduated. He served stateside in the US Army for two years as a combat ready medic during the Korean Conflict.
He met and married his wife, Virginia Roberson in El Dorado in 1958, and spent nearly 67 happy years as a devoted husband and father. He worked in the oilfields and then spent several years in Northeast Washington state in partnership with a water well drilling firm.
He then chose another career, receiving an associate's degree in nursing from Southern State College. He finished his career as a Registered Nurse and Supervisor at Warner Brown Hospital and then MCSA. He loved his career and the people he worked with.
Fishing and camping were his off-time hobbies, and he loved spending quality time with his family and friends. He was a long-time member of the El Dorado Seventh Day Adventist Church and practiced his faith in the life he lived.
Preceding him in death along with his parents are brothers; Bill Frachiseur and his wife Weida and Paul Frachiseur and his wife Marilyn along with a sister, Lois Farnell and her husband, Norman Farnell.
Survivors include his wife, Virginia Frachiseur and two sons, Glen Frachiseur (Laura) of Tok, Alaska and Keith Frachiseur (Kathi) of Carnation, Washington. Also surviving are several grandsons and great grandsons and daughters.
He is dearly loved and greatly missed.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August, 22, 2025 in Young's Chapel with Bro. Daniel Hudgens officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
