Edrie V. "Nell" Stanley, 89 went home to be with her Lord on October 17. 2025. Born December 8, 1935 in Strong, AR she was the daughter of James Edgar and Molly Estelle Ballard Simmons.
Nell loved reading her Bible and sharing her Lord with others. She taught Sunday School at East Main Baptist Church. She retired as vice-president of tellers at Simmons Bank. Nell loved spending time with her family and church friends.
She dearly loved all of her friends and caregivers at Timberlane health and Rehab.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband, Jimmy Glen Stanley, a daughter, Karen Lynn Redstone and a grandson, Charles Kevin Kick.
Survivors include her daughter, Donna Kick (Danny) of El Dorado, grandson, Russ Kick (Kohli) and their children, Dani Jo, Calla, Decimus and Bowen of El Dorado, granddaughter, Donna Brashears (Donnie) of Rogers, AR and their daughters Jordan and Rachel and families of Bella Vista, AR, grandson, Everett Bailey (Haley) of Greensboro, NC. Also surviving is a brother, Leon Simmons of Lantana, TX and his daughters, LeAnn and Heather and families and many more relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at 12:00 noon until service time at 1:00 p.m. in Young's Chapel with Rev. Ryan Huffty officiating. Interment will follow in Pinewood Memorial Cemetery in Crossett, AR under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
