Frances Kathryn Shaddock, 96, of El Dorado, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at her residence. She was born on July 31, 1929 to James Soule and Fannie Mae Cawthon Shaddock in Camden, AR.
She loved being a school teacher, it was her passion. She also loved traveling with friends, as she traveled to many different countries. She loved her church and her church family at the Presbyterian Church. She was a very kind, loving soul. She was a member of the Retired Teachers Association, the Red Hat Society, Delta Cappa Gamma, and the First Presbyterian Church.
Preceding her in death along with her parents, are her grandparents, and Ms. Ada.
Survivors include Misty McGhee and family, cousin Elizabeth Shaddock, cousin Anita Sawyer, Glenn and Judy Alderman and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2025 at Young’s Funeral Directors.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2025 in Young’s Chapel with Janice West of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Pallbearers will include Cameron McGhee, JW Bledsoe, Hayden Bledsoe, John Ginger, Bill Archer and Scottie Rainwater. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Camden under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
