Jackie Parker Rodgers, 93, of El Dorado, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital. She was born on September 25, 1932 to Carl and Rebekah Chitwood Parker in Driggs, AR.
She retired from the El Dorado School District, where she worked as a Secretary at Hugh Goodwin Elementary School, and she was of the United Methodist faith.
Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, Russell E. Rodgers; and brother, Don Paul Parker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, David Rodgers (Denyse) and Doug Rodgers (Carla); granddaughters, Sarah Hubbard (Curtis) and Lauren Jackson (Clayton); great grandchildren, Alyssa, Oakley, Adalyn and Taylor Hubbard, and Nolan Jackson; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025 in Young's Chapel with Bro. Bill Odom and Rev. Amanda Smith officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
