Julia Evelyn Sewell, 92, of El Dorado, entered peacefully into her Heavenly home on Monday, August, 11, 12025 at Timberlane Health & Rehab Center in El Dorado following a lengthy illness.
Born August 7, 1933 she was the daughter of John and Julia Pennington in Strong, AR.
She worked as a real estate agent for Jan’s Realty for many years. She was a charter of St. Paul Methodist Church where she served faithfully. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will long be remembered for her beauty and grace.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her husband of 55 years, Wendell Sewell; four brothers, two sisters and a granddaughter, Shea Sewell.
She is survived by two sons, Bill (Judy Lynn) and Wayne (Angelia) all of El Dorado; grandsons, Trey (Brooke), Preston (Shelby), and Tanner Sewell all of El Dorado; great grandchildren, Hallie, Presley and Annabelle; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family expends a special thanks to her special caregiver, Sue Jenkins for her devoted care and friendship.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2025 at Fredonia Cemetery with Rev. John Mark Moore and Rev. David Bush officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors with grandsons and nephews serving as pallbearers.
