Marilyn Joyce "Granny" Frachiseur, 87, of Louann, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on the evening of July 5, 2025, at Hudson Nursing Home.
She was born on August 11, 1937, to Sam Blann and Millie "Olga" Holmes, and was lovingly raised by Roy J. Fife and Millie Olga Holmes Fife.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Olga Holmes Fife; her beloved husband, Paul Ulysses "Pops" Frachiseur; and two sons, David Wayne Frachiseur and James Kelly Frachiseur.
She is survived by her children: daughters Millie Olga Frachiseur Eubanks of Louann and Mollie Elizabeth Frachiseur Willett and husband Keith Wayne Willett of Smackover; son Kenneth Paul Frachiseur of Clearwater, Florida; and her brother Tommy Roy Fife and wife Deborah Riggs Fife of Camden, AR; brother-in-law Delmar Frachiseur and wife Virginia Frachiseur of Eldorado, AR .She also leaves behind three grandchildren who brought her endless joy: Mason Keith Willett and wife Sarah Morgan Willett of Fayetteville, AR; Karli Elysse Willett of Rogers, AR; and Eli Frachiseur Willett of Smackover, AR. Her dearest friend, Peggy Farnell, also mourns her passing.
Over the years, Marilyn worked at PFS-ConAgra and Smackover Electric, among other ventures. Known for her tireless work ethic and creativity, she was never one to shy away from giving a helping hand. Her heart for service extended far beyond her work. A devoted member of Joyce City Baptist Church, Marilyn taught Sunday School, chaperoned youth trips, worked in the kitchen and nursery, and stepped in wherever she was needed. When the church closed its doors, she became a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Smackover, continuing her mission of serving others and growing in her faith. Marilyn also served her community as a dedicated member of the Louann City Council for many years.
Strong in her faith and generous in spirit, Marilyn lived a life marked by love, service, and resilience. Her legacy will live on in the lives she touched and the family she cherished so deeply.

Services will be held Friday, July 11 at First Baptist Church in Smackover officiating visitation at 10:00am and services at 11:00 am with Rev. Carley Davis officiating. Burial to follow in Smackover Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
Serving as pallbearers are Mason Willett, Eli Willett, Tim Frachiseur, Cecil Polk, John Zeigler and James Fielder.
