Obituaries

Ronald Pat Price, 77, of Strong, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at his residence. 

He was born on August 20, 1948 to Pat and Floyce Fore Price in El Dorado, AR.  He worked as a self-employed logger.  He cherished his family in always supporting and was a wonderful provider for them.  He was always repairing and working on some project that was special to him.  Another favorite pastime was watching movies and favorite television programs.

Preceding him in death along with his parents are his sister, Marilyn Peterson and brother, Terry Price.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Rhonda Price of Texarkana, Jami Wilson of Benton, Manda Minchew (Herman) of El Dorado, Camille Hopkins (Tim) of Rowlett, TX; grandchildren, Lauren Starkey (Jordan), Nathan Minchew (Ali), Garret Wilson, Hannah Wilson, Tripp Hopkins, Morgan Minchew, Colin Hopkins; and great grandchildren, Dawson Starkey, Charleigh Kate Starkey, and Mason Minchew.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025 in Young’s Chapel with Tommy Bennett officiating.  Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.  Burial will follow at Green Grove Cemetery under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.
