Shirley Mae Ballard, 84, of El Dorado, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at the South Arkansas Regional Hospital. She was born on February 15, 1941 to James and Lylie Goff Mansfield in Hornersville, MO.
She was retired Employment Manager for the State of Arkansas and was a member of St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
Shirley is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. E.O Ballard; son, Steven Holsten; and granddaughter, Stephanie Patton.
Survivors include her son, Tim Holsten and Wife Kimberle of Kennett, MO; grandchildren, Steven & Stephanie Holsten of Brookland AR, Bonnie and Brandon Barnes of Paragould, AR, Chris Holsten of Kennett, MO, Michael C. Holsten of North Dakota, Katherine Massey of Kennett, MO, Denise Massey of Kennett, MO; great grandchildren, Andy Holsten, Aiden Holsten, Anna Holsten, Allyson Holsten, Aaliyah Lance all of Brookland, AR, Zach DePew of Muncie, Indiana, Jason Holsten of Kennett, MO, Jacob Holsten of Kennett, MO, Skylar Patton of Sikeston, MO; daughter in law, Shirley Holsten of Kennett, MO; brother, Sam and Linda Mansfield of Hornersville, MO; 8 great great grandkids; and many nieces and nephews.
