Stephen Paul Coleman, 67, of El Dorado, AR peacefully passed away on August 28, 2025, at his home surrounded by loved ones, after a brief but courageous battle with cancer.
Steve touched those who knew him with his strength and resilience as he remained a beacon of hope and inspiration. He will be remembered in our hearts forever.
Born on March 15, 1958, in Youngstown, OH to the late Paul and Dolores (DeLong) Coleman, growing up in Riverside, CA. He started his career as an auto mechanic and later became a truck driver for Krielkamp Trucking (14 yrs) and Milam (11 yrs).
Steve cherished his family and was a devoted husband to his wife of 24 years, Sharon (Moore).
He greatly enjoyed NASCAR and was especially proud of his 1968 Chevy Camaro. He also enjoyed listening to music, grilling, and playing cards with his wife and dear friends Fred and Angel Wolfe.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Patty Crevoisier and Katie Swisher.
He is survived by his loving wife, his daughter Stevie Tarver, and his son David Wayne Ray. Four grandchildren: Jordan Lovett (Wynter), Logan Molzner, Jayden Ray, and David Marbray, and one great-grandchild, Jarrett Lovett. His brother, Alec Coleman (Cheryl), and sisters; Brenda McGhee (Richard); and Marion Miller (Dennis). Several nieces and nephews and a lifelong friend, Chris Starling.
No services will be held; at his request, and his final resting place will be in Watertown, WI. The family will honor him in remembrance and cherish the positive impact he made.
