EL DORADO, Ark. ( KTVE/KARD ) — On Tuesday, August 13, 2024, around 8 PM, officers of the El Dorado Police Department were dispatched to a gas station on Hillsboro Street in reference to a car crash and shooting. Upon arrival, officers learned that 21-year-old Kinley Hansen and 27-year-old Jaylen Robinson were the victims of the incident.
According to authorities, Robinson and Hansen were on a motorcycle traveling on Hillsboro Street and heading toward the intersection of Lorraine and Marrable Hill Road. Robinson and Hansen were then hit by a passing vehicle.
Police confirmed that the car crash was intentional and Robinson and Hensen were shot after the crash. According to reports, Robinson suffered multiple gunshot wounds and Hensen was shot once.
The victims were transported to a nearby hospital where they were pronounced deceased. No arrests have been made and no further information has been released.
The incident is under investigation.
