Parkerized finish is excellent original, wood, barrel and bore all rate 9/10 with absolutely no rust, pitting or cracks anywhere on this gun and of course NO Import marks. Lands and grooves rifling are very pronounced - as good or better than any I’ve ever seen on an authentic GI issue carbine. This rifle comes from a 50+ carbine collection put together over many years by a brave, highly decorated WWll/Korean War officer and as stated many of these rifles are GI bring backs.
