The South Arkansas Arts Center is calling on photographers across the region: pick up your camera, get out there, and enter your best shots in the 2026 Viewfinder Photography Competition. Whether you’re a seasoned pro, a weekend wanderer with a camera, or someone who simply loves capturing the moments that make life meaningful, now is the time to take those photos you’ve been thinking about and share them with your community. Submissions are due by January 27 with the exhibition open to the public February 2 and running through March 1. With more than $1,250 in prize money on the line—and the chance to see your work published in The El Dorado Insider—this bi-annual competition is your moment to step up, show off your skills, and let your creativity shine.
